Operator Job Responsibilities
Vial Washing Operator
- Operate and monitor vial washing machines.
- Perform line clearance before batch start-up.
- Ensure proper cleaning cycle execution.
- Record machine parameters in Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Perform routine equipment cleaning.
Depyrogenation Tunnel Operator
- Operate depyrogenation tunnel as per validated parameters.
- Monitor temperature profiles throughout production.
- Perform equipment start-up and shutdown activities.
- Ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Maintain GMP-compliant documentation.
Vial Filling Operator
- Operate aseptic vial filling machines.
- Monitor fill volume accuracy and equipment performance.
- Perform in-process quality checks.
- Report equipment abnormalities immediately.
- Follow aseptic manufacturing practices.
Vial Sealing Operator
- Operate vial capping and sealing machines.
- Verify container closure integrity.
- Monitor cap placement and torque.
- Perform visual inspection during production.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
Autoclave Operator
- Load and unload sterilization cycles.
- Operate autoclave according to approved SOPs.
- Monitor sterilization cycle parameters.
- Maintain sterilization records.
- Ensure compliance with validation protocols.
Manufacturing & Holding Operator
- Prepare manufacturing solutions according to BMR.
- Operate mixing vessels and manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor critical batch parameters.
- Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas.
- Coordinate material transfer activities.
Officer / Executive / Senior Executive Responsibilities
- Execute injectable manufacturing operations in compliance with cGMP and aseptic practices.
- Supervise production activities and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Perform line clearance, in-process verification, and batch reconciliation.
- Investigate deviations and support CAPA implementation.
- Coordinate equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and calibration.
- Ensure compliance with data integrity, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Train operators on SOPs, GMP, and aseptic techniques.
- Monitor productivity, equipment utilization, and process efficiency.
- Support technology transfer, process validation, and media fill activities.
- Coordinate with QA, Engineering, Warehouse, and Microbiology departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality and operational excellence.
