- Handle batch polymerization operations.
- Operate DCS-based production systems.
- Safely handle hazardous chemicals.
- Manage distillation columns, reactors, filters, scrubbers, dryers and pumps.
- Follow safety standards and operating procedures.
Mechanical
- Maintain plant equipment and rotating machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Handle conveyors, pumps, compressors, reactors and exchangers.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Instrumentation
- Testing and calibration of plant instruments.
- Troubleshooting analyzers and instrumentation systems.
- Maintenance of field instruments including gauges, valves and transmitters.
- Support automation and control systems.
Quality Control
- Perform wet laboratory analysis.
- Conduct analytical testing using GC, GC-MS, UV, KF, pH and conductivity instruments.
- Carry out method validation and calibration.
- Sample raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
