Key Responsibilities
Analytical Development
- Develop and validate analytical methods for biologics.
- Perform characterization of biological products.
- Prepare analytical documentation and reports.
Quality Control
- Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Perform analytical testing in compliance with GMP and SOPs.
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
Bioassay (R&D & QC)
- Perform cell-based and biochemical bioassays.
- Support product development and quality control activities.
- Analyze and interpret bioassay data.
Microbiology
- Perform microbiological testing and environmental monitoring.
- Conduct sterility and microbial limit testing.
- Maintain microbiology laboratory documentation.
R&D – Process Development (Upstream & Downstream)
- Develop and optimize upstream and downstream bioprocesses.
- Support technology transfer and process scale-up.
- Analyze process performance and prepare technical reports.
DS Manufacturing Operations (Upstream & Downstream)
- Execute manufacturing operations for biologics drug substances.
- Operate bioprocess equipment according to GMP requirements.
- Maintain batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
Quality Assurance (Development QA & GMP QA)
- Review batch records and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support audits, investigations, and CAPA activities.
Regulatory Affairs
- Prepare and review regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate with global regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support product registrations and lifecycle management.
Required Skills
- Experience in biologics or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in upstream/downstream processing (relevant roles).
- Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory documentation.
