Zydus MedTech Medical Writer Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support clinical and regulatory activities associated with medical devices. Key responsibilities include:

• Authoring, updating and reviewing medical-device clinical and regulatory documents.
• Preparing Clinical Evaluation Plans (CEP) and Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER).
• Developing Post-Market Clinical Follow-Up (PMCF) Plans and Reports.
• Supporting Clinical Investigation Plans (CIP), protocols and Clinical Study Reports (CSRs).
• Preparing Summaries of Safety and Clinical Performance (SSCP).
• Drafting Informed Consent Documents (ICD) and Investigator’s Brochures (IB).
• Contributing to Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSUR), publications and white papers.
• Preparing Health Hazard Analysis/Evaluation and other relevant medical-device documents.
• Developing literature-search protocols and search strategies.
• Conducting systematic literature searches and extracting relevant clinical evidence.
• Preparing literature summary reports and literature-based State-of-the-Art (SotA) documents.
• Ensuring documentation complies with applicable regulatory requirements and company SOPs.
• Working closely with Regulatory Affairs, Quality and R&D teams.

Required Qualifications

Candidates applying for this Medical Writer position should meet the following requirements:

• MBBS or BHMS qualification is required.
• Exceptionally good Pharm.D candidates with exposure to and understanding of medical devices may also be considered.
• 0–3 years of experience in Medical Device Medical Writing or Clinical Affairs.
• Good understanding of EU MDR requirements.
• Knowledge of literature search methodologies and clinical data interpretation.
• Excellent medical writing and editing skills.
• Strong command of written English.
• Good attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of French or Portuguese will be an added advantage.
